In Part 2 of my trip to Japan, it was more recent and I went there with my family. The thing about travelling with my mom is that she opts for midnight flights because according to her it saves the precious time to go sight seeing and has less passengers.

Busy street with busy Japanese men. |
We went on 8th June and when we arrived, we took an hour bus ride from the airport to our first hotel in Ueno, called
Ueno Hotel. The hotel room is quite small, barely enough for two. However, it wasn't much of a big deal since we only stayed in the room to rest and spent most of our time out exploring. The hotel is situated close to the Ueno Metro Station and plenty of stores. We spent our first day walking to the Ueno Zoo which was close to the metro station and also the park.

We spent the first day walking through parks and eating delicious soft-serve Japanese ice cream.

Delicious ice-creams! I would love to come back just for their ice-creams |
The next day, we packed out bags and checked-out from Ueno Hotel and go on the metro to our next destination which was Maihama. This place is known in Japan for Disneyland and DisneySea theme parks. The hotel we stayed was called
Maihama Hotel Mystays. The rooms that we got was bigger there, two single beds and tons of walking space. It's a 5 minutes walk to DisneySea and Disneyland but it's closer to DisneySea rather than Disneyland. We spent that day exploring DisneySea and decided to continue our fun for Disneyland the next day. The last time I visited Disneyland was in Hong Kong in 2010. It was tons of fun and I had a great time riding all those roller coasters.

That magical feeling that Disneyland gives you is priceless. |

Come explore DisneySea with me! |

A few minutes walk from our hotel to the theme parks. |
The next morning, we packed our bags and got on the metro again to our next destination. Hopped off from our stop, Nagatacho and we walked to our hotel,
Hotel New Otani. The rooms were huge, one of our room has somewhat like a walk-in closet to the bathroom. Now I haven't been talking about food yet and usually we would pack along some sandwiches and carry a water bottle each. We were lucky to stumble upon a tour guide that showed the way to a Japanese restaurant were all the food was halal.

The restaurant is near Hachiko Station which has a
statue of Hachiko the dog. We went shopping near Shibuya Crossing (which is usually what we do on the last day of our trip) And I was looking eeeeeveeeerryyywhere for a Nike Store because I was dying to get a pair.(which i did hehe)

Shopping galore with hundreds and hundreds of shops of different brands |
There was a sea of people and we had to walk really close together to avoid from separating. All in all, we had a great time shopping. The next day we packed, checked-out and took the hotel shuttle bus directly to Nagoya Airport. Good bye Japan! Hello Malaysia!
